Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 October 2026. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit hinduscalendar.com ("the Site"), why it is collected, and what choices you have. The Site is a free Hindu calendar and Panchang resource; it has no user accounts, logins or data-entry forms.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The Site is published by Sanatan Hindu Panchang. For any privacy question write to hinducalender930@gmail.com — we answer every message.

2. Information we collect

Server logs: Like every website, our host records standard technical data: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used only for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics.
Cookies: The Site itself sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the Site, may set strictly necessary cookies (for example __cf_bm) to detect bots and keep the service reliable.
Information you send us: If you email us, we receive your email address and message, which are used only to reply. We never sell or share them.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are active:

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices, or read more at Google's Technologies & Ads policy.
We do not allow advertisers to collect personally identifiable information through our advertisements, and we do not merge ad data with information from AdSense accounts, analytics or other data about you.

4. Analytics

We currently do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service that sets cookies on your device. Traffic is measured only from anonymised server logs.

5. Third-party services

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the Site and provides security and performance optimisation. In doing so it processes technical data such as IP addresses. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Links to other websites (temples, festivals, panchang sources) are provided for reference; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

6. Children's privacy

The Site is a general-audience calendar and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA, UK and India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Write to hinducalender930@gmail.com and we will act on verified requests promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the Site's features or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
